This is a reminder that ALL students must register for school every year. Even if your student has been attending Springfield Public Schools for several years, they must be registered for each new school year. Please complete your registration form as soon as possible if you have not already.
If you need any assistance with registration, the school office will be open next week from 7:30a.m.-4:00p.m. for in-person help. We would be more than happy to assist you!
The Women’s Professional Baseball League (WPBL) is proud to call Springfield home for its inaugural season, and we’re excited to help our families experience the action!
As part of a special partnership with District 186, District 186 families have the opportunity to receive FREE tickets to select Thursday night WPBL games this season.

In-person registration assistance will be available at Dubois on Monday, August 10th from 11:00a.m.-6:00p.m. Please feel free to come to the school at that time if you have any questions or concerns regarding registration.
Also, mark your calendars for our Meet the Teacher Event at the school on Friday, August 21st from 5:00-6:00p.m. Come to Dubois to meet the teacher, get a glimpse of the classroom, and drop off any school supplies .
Lastly, Monday, August 24th is the first day of the school year.

Hello 5th Grade Families -
As you know, our 5th grade promotion ceremony will be Tuesday, May 26th at 10:00 in the auditorium. We are excited for a wonderful time, please review the following guidelines:
- Please limit your attendance to 2 guests per graduate if at all possible.
- If you must bring more than 2 guests to the ceremony, please call Ms. Hopson at the school to let us know in advance. We need to ensure that we have enough seats for our graduates. Failure to alert us ahead of time may result in standing room only seating, which we are trying to avoid.
- Balloon bouquets are not allowed at District 186 graduation ceremonies.
- Siblings that attend Dubois will remain in their classrooms during the ceremony.
